Shreyas Iyer Shines on Punjab Debut

Punjab Kings Batted First scoring a huge total of 243 for 5,Priyansh Arya giving a good start scoring 47 from just 23 balls,Captain Shreyas Iyer scoring unbeaten 97 runs in 42 balls,Missed his well deserved Century just by 3 runs.

Shashank Singh Scoring 44 not out in just 16 Balls with the strike rate of 275 which helped in getting 87 from the final 5 overs.

Gujurat Titans Also started well getting 61 runs for 1 wicket in the powerplay where shubman gill got out after giving a good start scoring 33 runs from 14 balls. After the powerplay Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler Created a Partnership of 84 Runs.

Sai Sudharsan Scored 71 runs from 44 balls,and Jos Buttler Scored 54 runs from 33 balls.

At the end Sherfane Rutherford tried to Chase the total but fell Short just by 11 runs kudos to Punjab Kings Impact Player Fast Bowler VijayKumar Vyshak who gave just 5 runs each in both 15th and 17th over.

Shreyas Iyer was Named the man of the match for his unbeaten 97.
